Drag n’ Note Privacy Policy

Drag n’ Note (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) is a browser side-panel note-taking extension. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how it is stored.
What data we collect
The extension only stores data that you actively create or choose to capture:
- Notes / cards: text content you type or drag into the side panel.
- Tags: names and colors of the tags you create to organize notes.
- Trash: deleted notes kept in the trash bin until you empty it.
- Settings: your preferred language and theme.
- Webpage content (user-initiated): when you select text on a webpage and drag it into the side panel, the extension reads the selected text, page URL, and page title to create a note card.
Where your data is stored
All data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. It never leaves your device. We do not operate any servers, cloud sync, or remote databases for this extension.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Personal identifiable information (name, email, phone, address, etc.)
- Account credentials or passwords
- Health, financial, or authentication information
- Browsing history
- Location data
- Analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
External services
The extension does not load remote code or use analytics/tracking services. The only external links are user-initiated: clicking the PayPal support button opens https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/AmberTang216 in a new tab.
Your rights and controls
- Export: you can export all your data as a JSON file from the options page.
- Import: you can import a previously exported JSON file.
- Reset: you can clear all extension data from the options page.
- Uninstall: uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.

我们不收集哪些数据
我们不会收集以下任何信息：
- 个人身份信息（姓名、邮箱、电话、地址等）
- 账号凭证或密码
- 健康、财务或认证信息
- 浏览历史
- 位置数据
- 分析、遥测或使用统计
外部服务
本扩展不加载远程代码，也不使用分析或追踪服务。唯一的外部链接是用户主动触发的：点击设置页中的 PayPal 支持按钮会在新标签页打开 https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/AmberTang216。
你的权利与控制权
- 导出：你可以在设置页将所有数据导出为 JSON 文件。
- 导入：你可以在设置页导入之前导出的 JSON 文件。
- 重置：你可以在设置页清空所有扩展数据。
- 卸载：卸载扩展将删除所有本地存储的数据。
